How to cast mobile phone to a linux machine .

Linux is a very good and powerful operating system in entire os market, but some time it gives disappointment to some user due to less GUI and less application market size . Coming to the point is in other operating system like mac and windows operating system we have an dedicated application or features to cast or controlling our Android mobile phone remotely .

But coming inside and completely different operating system like Linux is not that much of easy . why because of there is nothing an one particular vendor who develop Linux . Because we all know that Linux is completely open source . well in this blog i am going to show you that how you can cast and even control your phone without installing any application into your phone.

Well in this blog i am going to show you in Ubuntu platform and it is as simple as any other flavor of linux .

STEP 1 :

When ever you add any 3rd part software you must add the require repository . So at this time add ( Universe ) repository by typing this code .

#sudo add-apt-repository universe

or you can do this action by manually just going to software update section and then find universe section just check the box .

STEP 2 :

Open your terminal by pressing ( Ctrl + Alt + T ) on your keyboard . or simple open your Terminal screen and then simple type this simple line of command .

apt install scrcpy

Run your terminal into Sudo user why because of it require some permission to execute the command .

STEP 3 :

Now run update command to up date the repository .

#sudo apt update

STEP 4 :

Open your mobile phone and turn on the USB debugging option from developer option in your phone . And connect your phone by using your data cable .

STEP 5

This application doesn't have any specific icon so you will not any application for this application, we will lunch this application by using your Terminal screen . just type the name of the program name ( scrcpy ) .
It will send an message to your phone for accessing debugging permission to your phone.
