 Q. What is Server ?

Ans.: In generally speaking  a server is a piece of computer hardware or software that provides services to the clints. 

It is also a backbone of  network.

Q. What is the Difference between server Operating system and clients operating system ?

Ans.: Server : It provides all kinds of services to clients. It doesn't require any 3rd party application for providing services . All the packages are installed in it .

Client  : It provides some basic service that need a user to opeate the system . If any other things require user must install insatll 3rd party application . 

Server : Server can run 24*7 without taking any reboot . So that connected clients can access data from seerver at any time .

Client : It does't work 24*7 it require reboot to work properly .

Server : Server is designed only for controlling data from the user so here you will find less GUI . 

Client : In client os you will get more GUI compares to serrver. why because end user use this system for daily use so it require some GUI for engaging.

Server : It stores all information about the customer and clients so here yu will get moe security feature in comparing to client operating system .

Client : Clients os you will get less security from server os .

Note : All the client can act like Server and Client is also called Desktop Server .

Q. Function of Server ?

Ans.: If you server os in your server you will get 

1. DNS  server.

2. FTP  server.

3. DHCP server.

Q. Hardware requirement for making server ?

Ans.: To built a PC you require some hardware components same things you require in server also . Server is also a computer but in server you require some others like given bellow. 

Processors: Intel or AMD server Processors

Intel -- Xeon 

AMD   -- Epyc 

Ram :  ECC RAM ( Error Correction Code Memory )

SMPS : Redundant power supply, with support Hotswapable features 

HDD : IN server you require RAID config.. HDD 

Q. Hot swap-able device ?

Ans.: Hotswapable device means During running server we can Remove and Add different components without stopping the computer . This types of device is called Hotswapable device.

Like ECC RAM , RAID HDD, Server SMPS etc. 

Q. Minimum system requirement for installing Windows server operating system  ?

Ans.: To install Windows server operating system in your server or your pc you require some hardware requirement and that is 

1. Processors should be 64bit architecture support and processor speed should be 1.4 Ghz or higher require . Coming to the memory point you require atleast 512 MB for CLI server os and atleast 1GB for GUI server operating system .

Without a HDD we can't install a operating system so to install we require atleast 32GB HDD .
