Well in our previous blog, we already discussed about how to create and how to join the Search console with your blogger page. So now it is the time to join the Sitemap features in your blogger page. We will see What Is Sitemap and Why it is require for your site or blog and how to join this on your blogger page.

What is Sitemap?

• Sitemap is used to represent your website for crawler bots on different types of search engine. For example, if you have some pages or links and you want to index in Google's search engine or any other kinds of search engine then at that time, we use Sitemap to perform the action. It is used to get index our website or pages on different search engine.
• The XML site map is only used for Crawler and HTML sitemap is used for Normal human to understand very-well.

Why site-map is required?

• For the better understand of your site's pages to Google crawler or any other web crawler sitemap is required. 
• It is also required for google AdSense verification time.
• It is also very helpful for easily identify all of the pages and all connected sites at one place.
• So, if in future if you miss to index your page on search console then also you can get answer inside Sitemap page.

 How to Join Sitemap for Blogger?

Creating and Joining, the sitemap for blogger is so simple, you just need to follow some simple steps and then you are ready to go. Well to start your joining sitemap inside your Blogger please follow steps bellow. 

STEP 1: -

Copy the Given commands here. And edit as per pas your website or blogger name. Just remove my Blogger post name and then copy it.

User-agent: *

Disallow: /search

Allow: /

Sitemap: https://cloudpradeep.blogsport.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500

STEP 2: - 

Now Open your Blogger page and head towards to Setting and then find an option called Custom Robot.txt. You will get it under the Crawlers and indexing section setting for your blogger page.

STEP 3: - 

Now Tap on it and it will open a small popup screen then there you have to enter the text file that you copied perviously for the Sitemap. After that just hit on Save to save your content. 

 

 STEP 4: -

• Now log in into your Search Console page and in your left side bar you will get an option called Sitemap just tap on that section. 
• It will open a page to add your site map link. Inside the link section just add your site-map's home URL and after that add sitemap.xml and then press Submit. 

• It will take some time to complete your request then your site map configuration for your Blogger page is now done.
