How to set shortcut key for Terminal in Kali Linux? | Check to Know more | Shortcut key for opening Terminal in Kali.

Welcome to my new Blog, i hope you are doing well. This blog is going a quick tour of Linux because it is a setting in Kali Linux or you can say other Linux Distributions and that is How to set shortcut key for Opening Terminal in Kali Linux. For your Information Kali Linux is also bashed on Debian Linux Distributions, unlike Ubuntu you will get this shortcut key preactivated. But in Kali Linux you will not get. 


Well, let's start. First of all, go to your system Setting. Just open it and on your left side you will get keyboard option, just tap on it. And now tap on Keyboard Shortcuts section. 

For creating a new custom Shortcuts just tap on ( + ) .

Now add a name for your Shortcut name like i am giving a name " Terminal ". After that for terminal command use gnome-terminal. And for Shortcut key i choosed Ctrl + Alt +T . After that just click on save to get the command ready.

Note: -  I used gnome-terminal for command section so in your case you can use another name. Like xfde-terminal.
