How to create a virtual pc inside a virtual box. | cloudpradeep | Setup virtual machine in Virtual box

Well you might know that, we can run multiple operating systems in a single pc, but that one usage second hard disk partition or simple you can say using the dual boot, or so on. But what if I say that we don't need any other partition or data loss to perform the same action on your PC. Sounds good, isn't it? 

well that is possible to use, not only you can use it inside your existing PC but also you can share your hardware with that PC. Only, it is just an imaginary PC inside your base machine. So without wasting any time let's get started on this. 

What is a Virtual Machine?

A virtual machine is a machine that runes inside your existing machine using your base machine's hardware. In a simple way, it is just an imaginary PC or zombie PC. 

What is Virtual Box? 

A virtual box is a piece of software that helps to run and create the virtual machine inside your PC. It is developed by Oracle software.   It is a simple Software usage of your system's resources to create and provide you services. 

Prerequisites:

    1. Pc with Running Mac, Windows, or Linux operating system. 

    2. Supported processor with Virtual technology-enabled.

    3. Virtual machine's Iso file or require .iso file. 

    4. Virtual Box software itself.😅 

Setup virtual machine:- 

Step 1:- 

Enable Virtual machine services in Bios. 

If you are using an Intel-based pc then you need to go first of your system's Bios and enable VT service in order to run, or if you are using an AMD bashed pc you probably find a service called Enabling Virtualization.

Step 2:-

Install Virtual machine platform in your Pc. ( Windows only ) 

            If you are not getting then used the below link to enable this option on your PC.  Click Here

Step 3:- 

Download the Virtual Box and install and Open it. 

    Simple click on the given link here and you will get the direct download option to save on your local PC. After that just open that file and click install then press the next option to install the app.  

How to create a virtual pc inside a virtual box?

In all the above we already got the virtual box software, so this time we can create and run our machine without any error. To create just follow these simple steps to successfully run a virtual machine. 

Step 1:- 

 Click on the New option it will open another page where you have to Give the name of your Pc, and its type ( Linux, Windows, Free BSD, etc. ) after that just click on the Next button. 

Step 2:- 

Now it's time to allocate the RAM Size for your PC. Since I have 8GB of Ram on my PC, I am giving 2GB of RAM size to run. But if you have more RAM installed then you can add more to run fast.  

Note:-  As I had already mentioned it usages your current system's resources to give as your requirement.

Step 3:-

If you wish you can create add a virtual HDD if you have already present unless you click on the Create button, to proceed.

Step 4:- 

Select the HDD type in VHD and then click on Next to continue. 

Step 5:- 

After clicking on the next option, it will open another page, where you have to choose the 

Storage type is in Dynamically allocated. Then click on next. 

Step 6:- 

Now create a Virtual HDD with space that you want to use since we had chosen the type of Virtual HDD in .So we can create up to 2TB of HDD.  

Step 7:- 

After that, it's time to add the. ISO file to boot our system, for working on it. Just follow the given numbers given below the picture.  After all, is done just click on the Ok button to save your setting. 

Step 8:- 

Your Virtual machine is done now to work. Just click on the Start option to run and do your work.
